EPA Clean Power Plan

On June 2nd, 2014 The Environmental Protection Agency, under President Obama’s Climate Action Plan, released the first rules to reduce carbon emissions from new and existing power plants.  The Clean Power Plan will reduce carbon emissions nationwide by 30% from 2005 levels and will reduce air pollution that leads to soot and smog by 25% in 2030.
