This spring get involved in local democracy and making the City of Minneapolis a city for climate justice!
Want the City of Minneapolis to choose a bank that doesn’t fund crude oil pipelines, payday lending or private prisons? Want a city that is committed to inclusive financing for a just and 100% clean energy future? There are two ways you can make your voice heard and shape our pathway to a clean energy future in this state:
1) Attend a candidate Forum! Inform yourself & your community! Come listen to all five council candidates seeking to represent Ward 3 answer questions on local energy future. The questions will unite multiple important social issues including housing, climate resilience, racial equity, and workforce development for clean energy jobs. Minneapolis Residents from all wards are invited to attend! RSVP and spread the word.
2) Attend your city caucus on April 4th! MN350 is supporting two caucus resolutions. Bring these resolutions to your city caucus on April 4th.
Never done this before or feeling like a little brush up on what to expect would be helpful? Attend the ISAIAH caucus training next Thursday, March 30, 7-9 pm, in the Hospitality Hall at St Joan of Arc in Minneapolis to get ready to introduce divestment and clean energy resolutions at your April 4th caucus.
