HF 3693 protects oil companies not our civil liberties.
Join us at the House Public Safety Committee to say this is unacceptable.

This bill would make liable upon arrest and not conviction for those that trespass on “critical infrastructure and pipelines”. It would also punish those associated with someone that damages property. For example, a Grandma brings food for frontline protestors could be held liable the actions of others at a camp.

This is a direct attack on water protectors. The right to free speech is a cornerstone of our democracy. Free speech and peaceful assembly are the sign of a healthy democracy.

Bills similar to this have passed in other states. This is big oil working to intimidate water protectors and their allies.
